Welcome snook and congrats on the Hook! I'm sure you'll love it even more once you start using it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I was about to comment that the hook is my favorite release so far, but, truth be told, it is hard to have a favorite.
Each is 'perfect' in it's own way. What I like about the hook is it's uniqueness. Nothing I have looks quite like it.

Congratulations and Welcome snook! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> I have the hook-less Yard Guard, and I think it's a GREAT knife! It usually accompanies me on my little walks around the old ranch. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Tom

It's pants should be showing up any day now... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Way to go Snook! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
That Hook is a H U G E handful of a camp knife is it not?

My avatar is a Hook hiding inside Rainwalkers Red Kydex pants.

I deeply love that knife. It is still unused. Well I did cat a pork roast once... but that hardly constitutes as cutting for a Hook! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Prying open doors on a crack house during a raid, chopping a full cord of wood perhaps that is what this blade would love to do. But alas in my sedate life it will look brand new for years. But I have smoothed the crinkle quite well on my Dog Father! I love that blade with gusto as well.
Welcome Snook to the family of price to value knives sponsored by Dan and Patti Busse. They have a grip on what makes a knife NEVER FAIL!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Enjoy your stay here in The Yard. This place ROCKS!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

Peace.
