I don't own one, but a while back they got a lot of good feedback on some of the other survival forums.

Nice paintjobs!
Now, I gotta go paint mine, too...
I have one of those fubars for a couple of weeks. I think it is going to live in my jeep.
The blade on thre folder turned out really nice.
Did you use tape or free-hand it? I usually just blast away when I stripe my gear.

Uhh those are not mine haha i wish but yea. I found the pics off a thread on a forums i browse. Thought i would share them with the yard to show what other ppl are doing to theres.

Roo what kind of paint is that? Krylon? Is this type of pain job easy to do? I have never done anything like this but would like to do something simular when i get my fubar.

I have tiger striped or painted a ton of stuff.
I have done AR's, shotguns, sheaths, knives, 'hawks, etc. It turns out well enough that other people are constantly asking me to paint theirs.
It is pretty easy, just takes patience. Most people who have 'helped' me cannot get their head around the drying time between coats.
I use krylon military paint, which I got at Walmart.

The pics you posted there are a lot 'cleaner' than my work. My stuff looks more 'strider' like, less uniform. I will post some pics when I get the chance.
My shotgun, and my Brother's AR turned out the best.

Cool! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Everytime I see one of those at Lowes I want to buy it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

I just haven't figured out yet why I need it... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

well someone else might have one and want some custom kydex for it and then you would already have the pattern tool for it.

Holy Cow!

That's a good Idea!

Man why didn't I think of that... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Now I've got a good reason to get one... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
