Today's favorite knife is the Scrap Yard Dog Father:

"The Dog Father is the epitome of the "big chopper". Its 10 inch long blade with near full height grind and convex edge allow for enormous chopping and cutting power. The Resiprene C handle offers a high level of shock absorption under heavy impact. The Dog Father stands to redefine value and performance in the "big chopper" category."

Specs at a glance:

Steel: SR-77
Hardness: 58 - 60 Rc
Handle: Resiprene C
Thickness: .275 (Between 1/4" & 5/16")
Blade Length: 10"
Overall Length: 15"

I welcome others to post a picture of one of their favorites in this thread. This is to help ease the anxiety while we wait for the next SYKCO offering. Sometimes, it is good to just appreciate what we already have.

I knew you would like it, Bruce. The Scrapper 6 has superb balance and feel.

Off to a 2 hour meeting. My knife of the day is a 1980's Victorinox Trooper in OD.
