oh i see it! looks like they started blade grinds in 2 different places on the ricasso! bummer.. that's.. crappy.
Mine doesn't have that. I don't have any handle gap either.

Mine is not that way, but the logo is not as clear as yours. I love it anyway, even with the slightly fainter logo.

It doesn't really bother me that much. I don't think it will affect the performance of the blade and I'm just glad I got one.

That would bug me but mine has the gap and it does not bug me(much)so it is very personal. I am sure Dan would fix it but please wait until after the bowie ships if you want to return it. I am a hobbyist knifemaker and have a heck of a time with plunge cuts. My grinder is a 1 inch which does not help.
