Ok, so I am pretty happy with my SS4 except for one thing. Does anyone else's SS4 look like this? Can someone explain what might have caused it? Is it because it was really a piece of scrap metal? I will let the pics do that talking because I don’t know how to describe it.

I am happy I dont have the handle gap though.

Like Tony said on that one.. That's a bit duff! If it makes you feel any better your logo is in better shape than mine..

Mine is not that way, but the logo is not as clear as yours. I love it anyway, even with the slightly fainter logo.

It doesn't really bother me that much. I don't think it will affect the performance of the blade and I'm just glad I got one.

you know what.. that *IS* definitely unique.. one-of-kind..
..like those upside down stamps (which are now like Priceless!)

..hey it's Definitely more unique than having some "spiny starfish" on your coating LOL!

That would bug me but mine has the gap and it does not bug me(much)so it is very personal. I am sure Dan would fix it but please wait until after the bowie ships if you want to return it. I am a hobbyist knifemaker and have a heck of a time with plunge cuts. My grinder is a 1 inch which does not help.
