I put some pics of most of my customs up in the picture thread yesterday.

Thanks for looking.

Nice I didn't see those, my vote gose to the Dozier New York Special, it is close to the Arkansas Toothpick of his that I have always loved the look of.

Thanks James. I love the NY Special. Years ago, Tactical Knives published an article called "Big Apple Specials." The article featured good knives that could be carried legally in NY city. The knives included Busse's original straight handled Mean Streets, a knife I have always lusted after, Bud Nealy's Aikuchi, and the NY Special.

The NY Special was disigned by Bob Loveless and was originally called the Riverside Hideout, I believe. As you point out, it is very similar to Bob Dozier's Arkansas Toothpick but it's 1/8 inch shorter than the Toothpick. The NY Special carries nicely, horizontally, on my belt in a crossdraw position.

Again, thanks for looking.

I am really happy with my first custom ,the Lambert Whar folder.
I have some better pics on my camera I just need to download them.
What is the carry limit in NY? 3 inches?
Now there are lots of excellent knives designed to be under 3 inches and still useful MBC knives. The Spyderco Ronin is a bit weird looking but cool.

I think the carry limit in New York City is 3.5 inches.

Glad you like the Bodyguard Diceman. It is an elegant little knife. It looks a little handle heavy in my picture but is in fact well balanced. The blade length is 4 inches and the knife/sheath combination is nice and slim for IWB carry.

That would be a nice EDC depending on what you're wearing.
