to be honest i see both sides. i am not going to side with either on this forum but i think both make sense from their point of view. personally i hope the forum picks back up and i always enjoy hearing from dan and his family.

While it will take a whole lot more than the Ratster's name calling and antics to anger me, he did get one thing right. I think I will go have a beer. It's been a long day and I'm pooped.

I have to tell this story, last week my daughters boyfriend bought a CS Brave Heart, two days ago he was fooling around with it and dropped it on our basement floor (lino over concrete, about a 1/8 inch of blade broke off and a further 1/4 inch or so bent.
Being a rather thin blade at the point it isn't suprising it broke, but we will get to see if CS warranty will cover it.

PS:I absolutely refuse to discuss anything else you have to say to me or about me in this thread. I'm tired of it, Willieboy's tired of it, and if we took a poll, I'm sure you'd find that EVERYONE IN THIS FORUM BESIDES YOU is tired of it. So if you don't mind, let's give everybody a break and move on. Thanks.

that's a real shame. that woulda been my first choice if i bought a cs above $20. my him imp sgian dhu...it's painful to remember but we parted ways and i regret it every time i think of it. that thing was a beautiful, comfortable tank. i used it as a peg, once. not the sharpest, though.

PS: A quick note to Rat. If you have something further you want to say to me that's off topic, please PM me. I absolutely refuse to discuss anything else you have to say to me or about me in this thread. You think you speak for the entire forum?
If someone doesn't want to read it, they can scroll on past.
If I have something to say, I will continue to say it publicly.

(If my opinion is unpopular, then you should definitely approve, judging by post #112655.)

In fact, that is what it all was about, you making public statements (that you now claim to have forgotten) and your subsequent ignoring of the questions/responses.
Even in this thread you proudly talk about the results of your trolling/flame statements, as if being a troll is a badge of honor.

By the way, I just read through this thread again, and nowhere did I call anyone names. Troll is what you did, and that was/is a simple observation, not name calling.

I don't know what you two have against the Busses, but I will continue to ask for clarification regarding any ludicrous or demeaning statements/innuendo made against them. More people should be doing so, in fact- why am I the only one?

As far as your notion about tattling to Jerry about people talking smack? That is hilarious. If you said something was wrong with his Marketing and sales tactics to his face, he would probably seek clarification much in the manner that I did:

What exactly is wrong with Jerry's Marketing and Sales practices?

would you ignore his question and walk away in silence, only to repeat the same remarks again and again without any explanation? Would seem pretty strange behavior in real life, so why do it here?

About the comments regarding the forum. . .
this is a discussion forum. Not everything discussed is going to make you feel warm and cuddly inside. A forum where nothing serious is discussed, and nobody ever disagreed would completely suck.

I can't comment on the customer service, but I am not surprised at the damage. A thin knife made of (relatively) brittle stainless steel will not fare very well when dropped on concrete. Unfortunately Murphy's Law almost always guarantees the bread lands butter side down.
I had similar results dropping a stainless knife, yet I have forgotten what one it was- Maybe a Spyderco?

I'm suprised this thread hasn't been locked yet. Rat Finkwhatever you keep injecting your anal behavior in this thread as much as you do on Bladeforums. In fact you have a history of insulting and name calling there. Let it go or go away.
