Welcome to the Yard, gryps.

This is by far the best forum I've found so far, I hope you find it as much fun and informative as I do.

Thank you all for a very warm welcome, as well as the info. I'll refrain from 'air-knifing' while infront of the screen (I might slice it!), but I will be enjoying the feel of the S6 before hitting the sack. It has the most comfortable grip of any of my knives (a humble collection, geared towards practical use). I'm eagerly awaiting the DF (shelled out for a mint condition one, with factory sheath), which hopefully will arrive later this week. I'll keep an eye open for the new offerings here. I like the knife designs here, and it looks like SYKC have an enthusiastic customer base. Must admit that I was a bit surprised/confused by the last two offerings from Busse (that Klingon-style filet knife and the mini skeletonized one that's currently offered).

Welcome gryps. You not to far from me. I live close to Oswego.

Upstate NY, good times! However, I'll be moving to the City That Doesn't Like Knives (NYC)in late October. No knife in public with a blade of 4 inches or more.

I'll have to enjoy my blades in private.

That sucks! I have lived in NY state all my life and have yet to step foot in the "big city". I avoid it like the plague!

I'm engaged, got to relocate for the better half. I'll keep my fixed blade babies safely at home (a couple in the old BOB), and carry folders that *should* meet the legal requirements. Just no cleaning of fingernails using the Griptillian in the subway.

Yeah that may be frowned upon!

Carry a small Vic "classic" for the odd job that needs to be done in public.
