My training wheels were my Dad's 1953 Ford with a stick transmission. Learning on a stick was a little much for me when my Dad, of whom I was deathly afraid, was seated beside me ready to pounce on a mistake. Mr. Bill Old guys just know stuff! and, Old guys just have old stuff!
