Koster that is. Here's my new K-BOAR. The picture is Dan's as it's on it's way to Dwayne for a nice sheath. It's an 8 1/4 " blade from 5160 steel with a forge finish and coco bolo handles and the false edge is sharpened. It is a sweet knife that I've been wanting for awhile and it's finally done. It's 1/4" thick at the handle.

Wow nice blade there Ted. The blade finish is really cool the way it contrasts with the bevels.

It's an 8 1/4" long blade and 1/4" thick at the handle. I'll edit the original post.

Nice looking knife, but if the false edge is sharpened does that make it a true edge? Just wondering.

I have to call it a false edge or no one seems to know what I'm talking about. If you have a better technical term for it, I'm all ears.

Nope, I do not have a better name for it. Its getting late (for me) and I get confused easily when it gets late. When I am confused I sometimes ask silly questions.

Mighty fine Ted. I like Daniel Koster's work. I have one of his Karda-3s and want a K-Tusk.

I have two K-TUSKs(tanto and drop point), a Karda, and his shark neck knife.

I think I've seen pictures of your Tusks. How do you like the tanto blade?
