Hell yeah, leave BF to BF!!

The forums are opposites when you consider Busse and Swamp Rat.

The action for Busse knives is at BF

However, the SR forum there is much less active than the home forum for Swamp Rat.

I kind of like it as it is. More homey. Less distractions. Some pretty cool foil knives too.

Because the 'pack' doesn't need to advertise..? If people want to come here to 'howl', cool.. If Dan wants publicity then send Cliff Stamp a freebie!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

That is true, all three companies are 'cult'.. The Busse boys done good!

Personally I like it here. I never really post on BF. I lurk a lot, but I never really post. I think it mostly has to do with the fact that a peanut gallery really doesn't suit bladeforums that well. It's good environment here.

I have no intent of going over to the Blade Forum. It’s a good forum but the ScrapYard Forum is developing into a place for both the person with a casual interest in knives as well as the knife aficionado.

We are becoming a tight knit group who welcome all comers and help everyone realize that performance can be had at a good price.

I like it here better too. The only place I frequent at BF is the for sale forum.

I've visited the BF Exchange a bit here & there..

Seems that mostly safe queen types or maybe *slightly* used knives get sold there.

Do you ever see any Really Beat up & Abused choppers for Sale there?

I've always found the replies you get here and the general attitude are SO much better than BF..

Blade forums is a good place but it seems like a knife co can only handle on forum at a time.

The Busse home forum is very slow but the blade forums version is huge.

The opposite is true of the Swamp forums.

Keep just one I say. This way I won't have to check two all the time...

I like this forum better but it was cool the way the yard took over the swamprat and busse forums at BF during scrapper4 infi fever. There was so much desire for any info or rumors about the INFI that a third of the threads were about the yard.

Every now and then. More collectors than users though.

All it takes is one swing to be a convert!

Yep, folks know where to find us if they want to talk yard.. BF is fine but this is THE YARD (so clearly better)!

Indeed the Yard IS the place to be!!

The Yard is just.. Fun! great folks too.

The yard is a nice family environ, and it is lacking of trolls and such.

Lurkers are okay, they will get up the nerve to jump in when they are ready. I also think that as time goes on more people will jump in with comments as they realize that there is no such thing as a dumb posting. The Dogs are just good folks and all comments are welcome.
