i have to say...
it is much more comfortable to chop w/ than my crash axe. the res-c handles make it alot of fun.

I thought mine chopped pretty well for a 7" blade. What do you think V?

My Hook hasn't seen any use yet - I may have to take it out sooner than I'd though... Great pix! Looks like it cuts deep.

they chop like a...chopping thing. I had mine at work last night, working on some crates a walk-in was shipped to us in. didn't get a chance for pix, though.

Sure is a beautiful shape on that knife Vance!

I love that Guard wave look! It is also quite a adaquite chopper is it not?

I bought a Hook for the added nose picker at the handle but the size and shape is all Guard! I love mine too. I know you must remember that Red Kydex I use to tote it around Delavan Wisconsin on my hip.

Oh you forgot?

Then by all means lets re-visit the Yarg Guards nose pickin brother The Yard Hook!

I sure do love Scrap Yard Knife Companys blades!!!

By the way Phillip I can't say thank you enough that Fenix P-1 flashlight that you gifted me with is just awesome! I never knew light could be so enjoyable!

Peace.

on choppers i would say i am convinced that res-c is better. on smaller knives i still prefer micarta

Sounds fair Vance! My Badger Attack nearly makes me sort of agree with you, but deep down I prefer my SS4...

Great Chopping, Vance! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Those skids can be tough wood too... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

The guard makes a great midrange knife and small chopper, IMHO. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Great chopping pictures, Vance. As you see, the Res C handle allows full-power strikes. Great job!

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
