The Infi EDCs are, from the top:
SS4
Meaner
AD
GW

[Linked Image from img213.imageshack.us]

As for user favorites, I am SS4 all the way. (.... after stripped, reprofiled and sharpened <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> )

But, honestly, I don't "EDC" a fixed blade. They are all too big for me for "EVERY-Day" carry.

I use about 3-4 various sized folders for EDC. I like fixed blades more, but folders just work best for me for EDC carry. There are some nice folders to be had...

But, when hiking, camping, in the yard, in the field, etc. - a good 4" - 4.5" blade is my favorite.

The SS4 is one of the best IMO.

It is not the prettiest, but the handle is very well shaped, very comfortable, functional choil (as opposed to the silly Talon hole - wasted space and a detriment to knive's of that size a knife IMO - Otherwise the Meaner, AD and GW all seem pretty decent.... if stripped, reprofiled and sharpened <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />)

Personally, ... I had the AD breifly and I saw great potential hidden in that knife. But, it was too expensive for me to keep considering what I felt I needed to do to it. I am sure the GW has the same potential. But, aside from stripping, reprfile and putting a good edge on, I personally, would HAVE to grind that Talon hole into a functional choil.

For fixed EDC, I could probably make some suggestions, but I don't feel it would be appropriate...

Great stuff guys!

Ted - let me know when you're NOT going to be home so I can score some more steel <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Bill - I really like your AD.

And KG's skelly w/ perfect RW sheath are great as well!

Which Barkies did you get?

OK... You busted me. Don't tell. I got more than two...

Canadian Special 2007 - <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> - This may be one of my favorite all around use knives right now! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

Aurora - <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> - As it is, I like the Aurora more than the Bravo-1. If (when <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> ), I grind the thumb ramp off of the Bravo-1, then it will be a tough call.

OMF .... Nice design, but I have pretty big hands. There are a lot of regulars over with the Barkie guys that love those little knives. But, at 5.625" oal, it is just smaller than I care for. I am really looking forward to the OMF II that should be larger

Mini Skinner - don't have yet. Should be here tomorrow. I wanted something similar to the Pro-Scalpel II (Limited to 25) and something larger than the OMF and smaller than my Mini Northstar (...um.... EDC <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />...). But, I didn't want to pay the price for the Pro-Scalpel II LE and I don't care for brass hardware on the LE.
The Pro-Scalpel II appears to be made from the Mini-Skinner. I "think" I may try to customize the Mini Skinner to my liking. The Mini Skinner has 4 finger grooves, but there is no way that handle is big enough for four fingers. It is a three finger knives. We'll see....

I almost purchased the Colonial Patch knife. It is on my list and looks like a great.... um... EDC <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> ). But, I have to watch my spending right now. I spent way more than I have to spend. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paperbag.gif" alt="" />

I have about 30 or so Barkies.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paperbag.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

As best as I can tell dimensions for the rat skelly are:

OAL: 7"
BL: 3"
Blade thickness: 3/16"

The handle feels good in my hands. Its not to small and the rounded end make it pretty comfortable.

I did see some hanging in the upper right hand corner in the Knob creek pics, so i am sure there will be some there.

Bill, I thought the point of that exercise was just to make us jealous of your EDC rotation. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Actually, by posting the dimensions my hope was to illustrate the differences between blades having similar footprints and how some blades may be better suited than others to discrete EDC, with slimmer and lighter being the better choice for city carry. Since I was unable properly format the specs., the idea became kind of cumbersome.

Hope you enjoyed the comparison pics.

Bill, Thanks for the comparisons... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Once you get the pants for the Meaner, AD and GW, you'll have to let us know which you like carrying better. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Here's an old photo of some of my EDCs. I've tried to keep it limited to 5" and under.

I've added a few knives since this was taken; Busse Sage Meaner, Koster Dankura, another Koster K_TUSK, Scrapyard Yard Keeper, SwampRat RatManDu.

Ted, nice EDC collection there... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

What brand is that scout knife at the bottom? Reminds me of my very first knife... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />
