Here's one more piece of info so you don't have to go searching. Dan announced that The DMLE will cost $129.95 when it's released. Add $14.95 for shipping and the total should come to $144.90 delivered (unless you live in Texas, in which case you may have to add tax).
FYI, the Dumpster Mutt originally cost $69.95 plus $14.95 shipping for a total of $84.90 delivered. Thus the difference in cost between the original DM and the DMLE is $60.00. Interestingly, that makes the price delta between the DM and the DMLE $10.00 higher than it was between the S6 (originally $89.95) and the S6LE ($139.95). Why Dan chose to charge more for finishing a smaller blade is unknown.
Bruce....could you work on your compulsive remarks about Dans operations and your eternal monetary deficit, we all struggle....most of us keep it to ourselves. Let Dan charge what he wants, it is his business....if you don't like it...don't buy it.....stop being a rabble rouser. Many folks have expressed concerns about the continuous shortages that befall you and tire of hearing your finacial woes. Sorry if it came off stern...well actually not sorry, but man...GIVE IT A BREAK!!!!
Some folks are ready to leave because of your constant gripping of price point and why he charges what he does...again...it is his business. You bring such negativity with no just cause other than you are broke ...where no one else seems to care what the price is nor when it will be released. I fully expect a backlash and that is fine, but I feel after all the PMs I have gotten about you, this should be said publically.
