Just finished putting the finishing touches on my Busse Meaner Street edge. Love that INFI. It takes and holds a good edge.

It's a sunny day but not as cool as yesterday. I assembled my new fire place. It has a grill and a spark catcher. My plan is to put oysters and a little water in a roaster and cook them on this.

A little walk out back to admire yesterday's yard work seems in order. What a boring life I lead! As you can see, things are still mostly green except for the grape vines and black gum trees.

The little Meaner carries well in this Rainwalker kydex.

It's nice handy size for EDC.

It's about the same size as my Voyager pocket knife, but much more rugged and thick.

Might as well walk out to the marsh and see what's moving out there by the target stand.

Must have been a racoon. He's gone now.

There's my house from the marsh.

Found a little Fall color up high in the black gum tree. Lots of its leaves have already fallen.

Still all green around the front drive.

The mosquitos are getting bad. Time to go back inside. Don't feel like spraying 40 % DEET all over right now.

Today I was supposed to be in the Altamaha, but I need to keep my wound clean and I have no one to watch the girls this weekend. It must wait for another day, I suppose. At least I have my little "wild" natural yard to enjoy.

I am impressed with infi. The meaner was on my short list to carry along with a machete down into the Altamaha River swamps to the "secret" Indian mounds. The Bark River cut so well, I though I'd take it, but now I've got a wicked new edge on the meaner. I'm quite sure it is up to any task a small knife could do. I'll test it again soon. I'll have the machete for any chopping chores. Things used to be easier when I had a wife to handle the kids and help with the household chores. I will get away one day soon, though. I just need to let my wound heal first. The doc cut a pretty big chunk out of my arm. OOOh survivor man is in Altamaha on TV right NOW!

That is a sweet little knife. The color combination is growing on me.
I do like the fact that you chose green for the kydex.

How did you like the edge on your Meaner when it arrived Vic? My Meaner, AD and GW came very sharp. In fact, I got a small slice from the Meaner with barely a touch.

Liked your pics.

Thanks. Wish I was at Knob Creek or at least wandering in the swamps. My Meaner came with a good utility edge, but compared to my new Bark River, it was dull. It was sharper than some knives I've bought. It is plenty sharp now.

Now that the weather is not so hot, I can begin to enjoy my place again. I have grown to dread the summers. It was kind of slow today here in the forum, so I figured I'd post a few pics of the same old yard ya'll see in most of my pics. It is very peaceful here. I need to use some of the Busse-made knives I have collected, and see what they can do. Other than the big choppers, I have not used most of them much. I'll never run out of stuff to cut here.
