It looks to me like the Rat Traps are back. While I prefer lockbacks, I have a few linerlocks that aren't bad. To have a Busse-made folder would be great. If SY offers a S7, I'll get one of those, too. I was hot to get a Ratweiler or Chopweiler, but I really prefer Res C handles in the bigger knives. I hope I didn't start the rumor about the S7. I was just speculating. I'd hate to be the victim of my own rumor!

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I've been heavily considering a Ranger Little Bird, or maybe the next busse family offering depending on what it is.

SY Skelly or that Ratweiler look good to me. A tan DM is pretty tempting too.

The Ratweiler handle looks like a very hand-friendly shape. I'd love to try one out.

Feels nice in the hand , it's a little wide at the hump toward the end of the handle but other than that it feels great.

I have the Chinook3 which is like a Manix with a bowie blade and it rocks. The lock up is incredible. The Chinook is actually designed for back cuts!
It is my current EDC and actually bumped my SS4

I want a Rat Skelly, a Mercworx Sniper(or Busse PBF) and possibly the Chopwieler
but I would rather have the S7 than the weiler.

I have also been into Puma's and german and skandi knives recently like this Puma Skinner.

Or this Helle anniversary knife ,it has a name but is 14 syllables long with no vowels.

I have also been waiting for Tora to get their next order of Kukuris.
BLD522 if you think waiting for Dan is bad try waiting fr a bunch of Nepalese Kamis then the nepal government(no exports during election months) then they go to the UK and as incredibly evil dangerous weapons they have a crapload of red tape to get in and then just as much to get out ,then over to Canada and Canada customs then dogsled to north saskatchawan.

It is worth it though. Check out the buffalo horn on this bushcraft knife.
