So what's the difference? They are all over 1/4" thick.

The Mutt blades are about 1/2" longer than the Keeper's.

Since I've done a little edge work, all three of mine will cut very well. The standard SY Small handle is a little fatter and feels better to me than the Busse handle, but it's a small difference.

The new DMLE is just a bit thinner and should be a good cutter, but my Urban Mutt was easy to get a great edge on. The DMLE should be even easier.

The Urban Mutt rocks. I hope Dan releases some more of them soon.

You can't be the value at $70.00. I just hope some of the flat ground ones will be made. I prefer it to the original's high saber grind.

Great pics Vic.

I was thinking last night about making and posting pics of all 3 mutts to show their similarities and differences.

The LE seams slightly thinner than the other 2 probably just because of the lack of a coated blade though.

I think the LE is a little thinner, Jeff. If you can, I'd love to see them all together as would many dogs, I'm sure. My DM is modified. The folks need to see one in its original state next to the UM and DMLE.

I am a bit sad that the 70$ Urban Mutt was only available to Knobs and the MuttLE is the one we get. It would make more sense to me to have the LE's be the Knob Creek specials and the bargainCG's for the Yard?

Is the YKLE shorter than the new Urban Mutt? and will the MuttLE be exactly the same as the Urban but shiny?

The YK blade is about 1/2" shorter than the DM blades, Unsub. The DMLE will be .25" thick, while the others are about .285" thick, I think.
