I hope my choice of subject titles didn't scare anyone off. I received some new pants from Jeff for my three Busses and thought I'd show them off. I ordered IWB Kydex for my Game Warden and Meaner and a leather XLoop for my AD. I know I and others have sung Jeff praises many times before, but, I can't help myself. First, a couple of observations regarding the Kydex work. It is super. The sheaths fit like a glove. The knives are held securely and there is zero play. NO rattles. I have Kydex sheaths from two other custom makers that rattle...and they had the knife in hand to fit the sheath. I also like these Kydex sheaths for their simplicity. Just a basic sheath that does the job. Here's the Game Warden and its new sheath. As an aside, how do you like my newly colored black Micarta scales? Next comes the Meaner with its Kydex pants: Finally, the beautiful leather AD XLoop sheath:

Yea Dom. I'm about to jump back in the queue too. I like the AD leather sheath so much, I'd like to order one for the GW.

I'm thinking of having rw make me a Chopweiler sheath with a piggy back for a Swamp Warden. I'm still undecided on that one though but he's working on me a sheath for my new HRLM at the moment.

Bill, I'm glad you like the sheaths. I hope they serve you well. It's always good to hear that they fit well too.
Now that you've got some pants for those nice blades, try to stay out of trouble running around with them...
Thanks guys for all the complements...

Nice work RW as usual. I need to get some of the IWB straps and have a go with them.

Don't forget the Kydex sheaths he makes. This one I had him make for my YKLE is a regular kydex sheath but with a flat bottom and dual mounting points for either a IWB clip like the one shown or a tekloc. I have been rocking the tekloc and hanging it behind the passenger seat of my new truck so I can reach it from the drivers seat.

That thing was a ton of work... The customer wanted a kydex lining but he didn't want it to touch the blade so the back of that sheath had 3 layers and with the inlay the front had 4, then add the welt and other attachments it made for quite a bit of work. I was very glad it came out looking good.

A couple of observation I can make are that:
1. The Game Warden is really too short to be worn IWB. Too little blade and it is also handle heavy. I attached a large Tek-Lok to the sheath and it carries vertically very well that way.
2. The leather XLoop is the nuts. It carries the AD very well horizontally. With the longer length of the XLoop when carried horizontally, the unit is very stable. Carried on the hip vertically, it is also great.
Of these three outfits, so far, the AD with the leather XLoop sheath is my favorite for EDC.

i like the x loop b/c it is very low profile. most of the time my ad lives in my daily carry bag and i wanted something very low profile.
