My flat ground Ontarios chop very well. There is really only one way to find out. All the rest is just theory. Since the Ratweiler is advertized as a chopper, I'm thinking that is its purpose. We will see how it does against the Guard and Hook.

And if you put that Chopweiler up against a Dogfather... Forget about it! Are you kidding? The Dog Father can out chop my Busse FBM. Not that the Busse doesn't chop as well. It does. The DF handle just lets me do it longer. But I didn't have a Swamp Rat chopper and I wanted one. Besides, its a nice size. It should be fun.

leatherface, about how much would a kydex sheath cost for an rd9 (just curious, probably won't get one, because the one it comes with is fine for my purposes) and how about a leather for an rd9?

i've been thinking a custom 7 with a spear point and g10 handles might be pretty ok.
