I am hot on the trail of a Manix too Jeff. Then a Chinook. Then I'll never buy another knife. Then I'll never buy another knife. Then I'll never buy another knife. Then I'll never buy another knife.

How many knives is enough? The answer is always "Just one more..." <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Roo, the actual model name is the K-Tusk made by Daniel Koster. Mine is the vanilla model as opposed to the drop point or tanto model. Mine has black and red G10 grips. They look black unless the light is just so. I have one of Dan's Karda 3s too and it has been a solid EDC.

Reminds me of a joke I usually associate with my other sicknesses: shotguns and flyrods. Goes like this... "I hope that when I'm dead, she doesn't sell these rods & guns for what I told her I paid for them!"

i feel your pain.luckily for me my wait is over.as of yesterday i have received all of the knives ive been waiting on.

and im also very lucky that i dont have a wife to worry about either.if i had a wife id probably own a schrade hunting knife or something and that would be it.maybe if i was a good boy i could spend my hard earned money and splurge on some cold steel or gerber.

i came within two weeks of getting married when divine intervention stepped in to help me because i was too stupid to see.its one of my main reasons i believe in god.thank the lord i didnt tie the knot.

now that ive tasted freedom their is no turning back.life as a playboy rules

hey, congrats on your mutt-hood, No1!
as nice as irresponsible fiscal whimsy can be, there's also something really nice about curling up with something warm at the end of a crappy day that's not a) a water bottle, or b) going to have kibble breath.

I nearly orderd a D2 tanot t-tusk, to keep my Koster nessie company.
But, apparently, the Busse family won't stop releasing knives, which I keep on buying.
