Doesn't Chuck Norris use a Beretta 9mm on "Walker..."? I think with the right ammo the 9mm is fine. I like my 92. It holds lots of bullets and I can hit very well with it. The 1911 is, of course, the classic manly pistol. Some women have a hard time pulling the slide back.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Carlos Hathcock would make a sling shot manly. This laser sighted slingshot is pretty cool. Accurate enough to split pencils at 20 feet. And they hit a lot harder with lead balls. You could also fire arrows with a modded slingshot. Then there’s also the Hawaiian Sling.

Now back on topic= In the poll I voted AK, pure and simple performance in any conditions- not brilliantly accurate but it'll get the job done! Well, it is weapon for war not for hunting and shooting range, but it should be made in Izhevsk - otherwise it is cheap copy which does not represent real AK which is accurate enough. Can you imagine what will be M16 made in China? Check also Saiga - it is AK with longer barrel. Hunting AK if you like, not fully automatic, of course, but with same action - same super reliable. Thanks, Vassili.

Some women have a hard time pulling the slide back. this was an intentional engineering decision, since the pistol was designed by men, and men know how men are, and men also know how women will react to men being how men are on occasion.

even though the obvious answer is the .454 casull, it wasn't available for voting. the K98 is that new pink remington, right? Before I got my 500 S&W I would have agreed. I will say the .454 is the most punishing handgun I have ever owned or shot. I can't imaging what a 460 must be like. I still shoot my 44 mag more than any gun but I now consider it light in comparison. I did have the opportunity to shoot a 50 Barrett...what the heck , nothing is safe Dan

A buddy of mine has a 45/70 handgun. Does that count for anything? He still hasn't taken me up on the dare to fire my handloads in it though!
The 45/70 deserves mention. How many 130 year old cartridges are still going that strong? It was the original record holder for extreme distance shooting too!
There is something to be said about lobbing a chunk of lead the weight of an AA battery at almost 2000fps.
JYD#10 Blade '08 - I challenge coined Dan Busse and WON! Blade '10 - The score is now 2-0!
