Nice combos Vic!!!! I'll take number 6,7 and 8 . The Rat/combo would be a great way to go with a light machete.

I have many options. All of them include the OHT, which is a great knife. The saw even works. The sun is low, so this is the best pic I can get of my YG for Unsub. I lost my platen, so I can't sand the ricasso. There isn't a flat grind left on it, giving it that classic 3rd World Grind Shop look. But it sure cuts better.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Its a great knife - for sure. Locking blade (serrations at the front and plain edge near the back - very cool), locking bottle opener/screwdriver, saw works very well (and a little more substantial than the other SAK saws), tweezers could surely come in handy when you're "away from civilization", phillips driver, punch - lots of good stuff. I'll give it two thumbs up as well - and seeing Vic adding it to his mix further supports my high opinion of it!

Vic, I like the S6 and SAK combo.. My 'Rucksack' is basically the same as your OHT but without the 'spyderco' thumb hole in the blade and with a red not black body. I'd add a Gerber Legend to them though myself.. Then you really can do most of everything.

This was my old, reliable combo. It weighed 19 oz total. But some of thick areas required a little machete work to get through, so I got a bigger knife. This CS MTC Kukri served me well, along with my trusty Bucklite and SAK Recruit. This combo weighed 23 oz. But a guy traded me out of that Kukri (I have it back now), so I got this 12" machete, now up to 24 oz total. The machete was replaced with this Ontario Survival Bowie. Now up to 26 oz. But could carry this lightweight 18" Tramontina, my SS4, and an SAK and still travel light and cut anything in my path. Or this combo might work. I already know the Ratweiler can slash through undergrowth like a machete. Here is a tough light combo that can do anything. This one is a little heavier, but not too much to carry. Think I might go with this one or the Ratwieler. Got to upgrade, you know. I like your combos, very good ideas!

Vic, I would take the 18" Tramontina, SS4, and an SAK. Then my swamp combo is a Machette, SEAL Pup, and a SAK Explorer model.
