I wore them to a book signing one night and a political fund raiser the next. So close to so many politicians, armed, dangerous, and off my medication. Just kidding about the medication. I was drinking a beer when all they served was tea. So did my sister. Somebody's gotta do it! Well, they said it was a party fund raiser. I went to UGA. I know that party is a verb. LOL

That is a great deal at Amazon - I paid $28 for mine (but I had instant gratification and walked out of the store with it!!) Yeah, but if I was going to suggest a great survival pocket knife, it would be the OHT. But that would be wrong! Instant gratification is worth waiting for.

I wish I could have bought mine at a store, there is none around here that carry it, I have looked. I find SAKs for sale and crazy places lately (now that I'm more in tune to their existence!) - I've only seen the OHT at a few places around town - large hardware stores and sporting goods places...

And, they're discontinued - so the fact that the economy is pretty "slow" here helps - the old models are still in stock!!

i didn't get the hiking pants but did pick up two pairs of their bdu pants and a rigger belt.
Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms should be a convenience store, not a Government Agency.

just my opinions, when I first saw it (Dice said the same thing) it looked "not perdy" and with so many popular one hand openers, with nicer blade holes and overall appearance; spyde, BM. I wonder if it sold enough units to keep it around.

to build market for their wenger counterparts? Maybe... They do have one that is OH and very similar. They sure are ugly though - or I thought they were prior to getting one. Its an excellent knife though - and I think it looks great now that I realize how functional it is! I'm pretty confused as to why they got rid of 90% of the Alox models, though. The only big one left is the Soldier (and they can't change that one <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> )
