Wow. Lots of southpaws here. I write left handed but do everything else right handed. As far as writing is concerned I'm semi-ambidextrous. My right handed writing is pretty good. Anything other than writing left-handed, forget it!

i actually went with two kinves.
i'm ordering a bush craft knife from a custom maker, and i passed on the chopweiler, still hoping for a S7, but pushed the button on a custom rd-7. once it comes in i'll post some comparison shots.
still want the s7.

I've been wanting an RD7-- a few questions for you
1. How exactly was it customized
2. How much for this custom work, and how long will it take?
3. Are the coatings on their knives as bad as people claim?

I dont own a rd7 but I'm may have a saber ground recurve rd7 made
only 139 bucks

It seems like a waste to get a plain RD when the customs are so cheap and good.
I like that ironwood and mirrorpolished one someone here has. They are definitly the best deal on a custom bowie I have ever seen.

Wayne fears knives are made by fosterknives.com.I agree with the ranger though.Cant go wrong for the money.Scrappys arent much more though are they?
