Is the blade removeable? Never noticed that bolt before.

The handle has removeable/adjustable weights in it, thus the bolt in the handle scales.

I am a huge fan of the Col and Sykes and Fairbain who developed most of the techniques. The crown jewel of my knife collection is my WW2 FS dagger second pattern. Here are a few related pictures and art work.
Thanks BLD for starting such a great thread.

Here is one of my all time favourite knife photos. It has German ,French ,US and UK knives in that order starting on the left. For a long time I thought the US knife was a modified K-Bar but it was pointed out to me it is an M3 US issue knife and can be found at gun shows in the US for between 30$ to 50$ dollars. Any of these knives would work well with the tactics in Kill or get Killed.
I am going to try to find the M3 for my collection.

The German knife is very nice and was used in both world wars. They are pretty pricey but Boker make an excellent reproduction. Repro might be the wrong word as they made the originals in WW1 and WW2.
This is so nice it gives me shivers. Carbon steel and stag ,UBER MESSER!

Here is the original cover. Note he is still a Major.

Rex slit a bandidos throat with one of those SAK keychains while working on the border.

They faced some tough customers. This is one of the Nazis most daring commandos Otto Skorzeny. His exploits are legendary.
Yes it is a dueling scar.

I love this knife as a history buff(not as a nazi) but even more as a knife lover. It is one of the best using knives of the war. It was copied as the BoyScout knife and some real HYK's were made into scout knives.

Knuckle knives were more popular in WW1 but this US made one is legit.

Here is one that has been modified.

This gravity knife was issued to german airmen and paras but was mostly used for cutting bratwurst. Very collectible though. Of course I want one.

The link BLD posted to Gutterfighting is worth checking out. These tactics are way better than most modern ones because they were offensive(to liberal pacifists) not defensive. I got most of my knife fighting style from here with some bowie/sabre thrown in <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
