Here is my new uberphone. It is very cool and has an expandable memory slot that I stuck a 2 gig card the size of a pinky finger nail in. I can watch family guy and fit my whole Itunes in it. You can play any MP3 on the media player but only if you enter it from the tools menu, anywhere else and you have to pay. It has EVERY feature but is not very easy to use. the touchpad on the Media Player side is particularly annoying. It is awful and really ruins the whole experience. It hits the wrong button as often as the correct one and is always hitting the END button because it is right next to the right arrow that you use to scroll through stuff a lot. The pad on the other side is perfect.
If they fixed a few human interface things they would have a real winner. Battery life is incredible though.

I was looking at the Timberline pen but found the Perrin designs one I like better. Hopefully it will be under the tree.

Y'all make me feel like such a low tech redneck! Here I am using maps and compass and looking at the sun and you guys have gps and a complete weather station with tide tables and moon phases on your watches. I gotta go look at a Casio at least.

All those functions are over rated ,most people only ise their phones as phones and watches to tell time.

I would suggest a Casio G-shock ,they can take a 40 foot drop ,go 40 feet under water and used go 40 years on a battery but not now that they have a light.

I will have to find out which "cheap" (IE 600$) watch has the same innards as most 10 000$ watches. I kind of lost interest when I got my G Shock. The one thing I would like on my Casio is a compass.

Unsub,
You mentioned pens. You have seen the new Perrin 'fighting' pen?
Pretty cool, just gots me one. Much cheaper than the timberline, and less 'military' looking.

I like the red face on the luminox. That's one I have not seen before.
