Dan, I just saw your pics, and it made my day. I am overwhelmed! The SHBM is the knife that started the Busse knife addiction for me. Every one of mine has a special story and special memories. I can only image the history and stories that go with this one of yours. Thanks again for sharing this piece of Busse/INFI history with us.

Wow, great knife, thanks for posting the pic Dan. Shame Jerry changed the design really, he got it about perfect first attempt.

Thanks for the pics Dan. That thing almost looks unused in the first pic. I'd love to hear the story about the testing for this piece. Like were there pre-infi prototypes made with different formulations before Jerry hit upon INFI? Anyone know where I can read about this? Great idea for a post Gravelface.

The one moment that stands out in my mind is when I got to do the free standing (anchored at the bottom and standing vertical) 2x4 Chop. It took me no more than 5 swings to cleanly cut through, half of them went in 3 swings. I almost cleaned one 2x4 in a single swing. It still shaved the hair off my arm after all that wood. INFI is amazing. Dan

It bears a large Busse on the side with a very small number 72 (Jerrys football jersey number- not sure anyone knew that) Jerry was the "Fridge!" ![[Linked Image from i10.tinypic.com]](http://i10.tinypic.com/81tyykl.jpg) Wow he lost weight!
