ResC is Soft. You've got to be careful when Batoning that you don't screw it up, and on a shorter knife like the DM, it doesn't leave much room for error! You can usually fix little cuts by heating it up with a lighter, but you do need to "be careful" with ResC, unlike Micarta or G10 or a SKELLY. The big winner for the ResC is that its much more comfortable than the other options! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Oh I just love it... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> I really haven't had a good chance to play with it much, so the jury's still out. I gotta figure out what kinda kydex pants I gunna make for it, so this weekend I'll get a chance to mess with it some. I did find out that size and shape wise, it makes a nice little companion to my NAA 22 mag. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I've even had kydex sheaths that tear up the ResC. Its super comfortable but fairly easy to cut/mar/jack up!

I have torn up my res-c already to
I think under a 6 inch blade it should be g-10 or micarta
