Xoloitzcuintle (show-low-eats-queent-lee) is a Mexican hairless dog breed. Unfortunately.. this guy got into the chicken coop one too many times.. so we had to give him away to a friend.. he's happier over there. and so are our chickens! the only pet pic i have that seemed fit for Scrap Yard forum!

I was going to order 1 extra sheath for my FBM...so that would mean I will need 4 sheaths!!

Wow.. if & when Dan puts up a factory DF sheath for sale..
THOSE will go fast too! Cuz all the FBM folks will be wanting them!

I was hoping Dan did a $20 factory sheath as getting custom sheathes here is just a total non-starter.. No Dan sheath no DF order sadly..

Dave - After seeing pictures of your sheaths, I don't think you have anything to worry about! I have a couple of the Cordura/Kydex liner sheaths, and they are decent enough. However, they don't compare to a good leather sheath matched with a great blade. I went to your site and your work looks really good. What is your turn around time?
I found a scrapper 6 for a good price (More than they sold for originally of course) and will need a sheath for it and another for the DOG FATHER if I live long enough to buy one.

Kydex is around a week IF I have the knife in hand 2 weeks if I have to borrow it from ya Leather is 2 weeks to 3 weeks or so depending on backlog and remember No ORDER is to big and no FEE is to big!! A knife like a dogfather deserves a nicer doghouse than some codura kennel.
If he is an outside dog he needs a sturdy kydex doghouse with a sturdy leash so he does not run away. An inside dogfather needs a nice leather dogbed with a western theme.

2 or 3 weeks is good. I like the examples of your work. If you are lucky, you will have a Dog Father that you can use to pattern the sheath. DO you have a Scrapper 6?
