By budget Remington do you mean the yugo mausers or the 710 that comes with the scope? I noticed some of the cool euro weapons being picked up by US companies like the Yugo mausers by Remington and the CZ75 by Armalite.

My Dad uses a Savage 110 in 270 Winchester. I have a Winchester Model 70 in .300 Win Mag (got it on clearance from Wal-Mart for $300 back in 2001). I rescoped it with a BSA 4x16x40 IR scope with a Mil-Dot reticle. I leave the 4 inch sunshade on it (makes it look very big) because the Butler Creek flip up scope covers won't fit over the grips for the parallax adjustment. The skinning tools are either Gerber or Timber Wolf from BudK. My brother bought them, and they get so nasty sometimes inexpensive tools are nice. I have thought about having a nice skinning set made. I have some more "distinc" pictures from the field dressing portion, but I saved then to scare my brother's wife.

I have a few good photos from a friend in southern sask who does a lot of hunting ,bowhunting and has several good trail cams but they all seem to end with a skinned carcass hanging in a garage and I was worried it might be a bit much for some people(not the regulars but this is a public forum).

Shouldn't be a problem to show food being processed. People need to be reminded sometimes that meat doesn’t come from shrink wrapped white Styrofoam packages, but that something had to die so they might live. Instead of seeing the eyes of an animal as it dies that they kill and clean themselves, now most people outsource their killing to slaughterhouses and butchers who do the dirty work for them. Sometimes people need to see the process involved to better respect and value the cost of their meals.
yes sir...well put indeed.this needs to be shouted from the roof tops

The orange is usually mandated by the various State Fish and Game Rulers and Overseers. In Georgia, these edicts are enforced by the Dept of Natural Resources, who own all the land, waters, plants, air, and animals in the Police State. The Dept. of Human Resources owns all the people. They say that it is so the hunters won't shoot each other, but I think it is so the Possum Police can find hunters easier and rob them. Every year I used to give them money for a license, Wildlife Manangement Area stamp and such. Every year they harrassed me on the way in or out and usually ruined my hunt. I finally quit financing the DNR thugs by quitting hunting altogether.

i think he means more like...
okay you have to waer orange, so why wear camo under it?

i gues maybe because those clothes are designed for hunting and outdoor stuff, so it might be better suited for the outdoors.

and it also kind of signifies that "your hunting" just in case the bright orange doesn't say enough.

No. The orange is mandated, and it varies from State to State. The original idea was to help prevent accidental shootings. Most outdoorsman wouldn't buy orange clothes. In Georgia, the orange is only required during deer season. Turkey hunters, duck hunters, and squirrel hunters often wear camo and no orange to hide from their prey. There are those hunters that are so stupid they they might actually shoot into the bush without identifying their target, and it has happened many times. It also makes it easier for the Possum Police to see deer hunters, stop them and search them and generally mess with them and ruin their hunting.

i know that, but like...if you have to wear orange, tyhan whats the point of the camo under it?
your already gonna be seen, so whats the point of wearing the camo, just to cover it with bright orange clothing?
i think thats what pitman is trying to say.
