Because camo is the color of your hunting clothes that you also wear in the small game season.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

i know that, but like...if you have to wear orange, tyhan whats the point of the camo under it?

Because deer are color blind, they can't see the orange. The patterns help break up your shape so you can blend in. In the old days before florescent colors, they wore bright red hats and flannels to keep from being shot by another hunter.

I just usually buy military style BDU's because they are comfortable, and most importantly durable. They are just usually camo. My dad is cold a lot so he had fleece lined jeans, and an insulated flannel shirt. A buddy of mine wears tan Carhartt Overalls. I don't really buy the camo for a purpose, but the appropriate clothes are often given a camo print. Missouri requires a the orange during rifle season.

Exactly, most of us cant afford different outfits for the different seasons for game...so just add orange and you have all the basis covered.

Good job and congrats! I scored a spike horn and doe so far, not including the doe I got during bow season.

Good question, I wonder if he drinks bourbon...my nose goes red and it seems perfectly normal to me
