That's for sure Vox! One thing to remember is at least we won't be billed for the ASH until they ship! That gives us two weeks. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

One thing to remember is at least we won't be billed for the ASH until they ship! That gives us two weeks. I actually hope they take their time with this one. It's a big purchase and lots of expenses here at Christmas time.

What is there "typical" time frame.... The closest thing to "typical" is "when it is ready". My mini Sus Scrofa was ordered on May 4th and delivered last month. There can be some delay! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I think the Steel Heart is one of the prettiest knives ever made. I am lucky I got one at Blade. Mine is a little scratched from chopping and batoning, but it is still a looker. In that tooled leather sheath that matches the texturing on the handle, it is the pride of my Busse collection. Even though I prefer the S6 as a user, the ASH-1 is still a very fine knife.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Yea, the ASH-1 is on sale right NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can't wait till Wednesday for the DFLE. Did anyone get in on this one? It is one sweet blade. I love the handles Dan I kind of went crazy. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> I just love the feel of the SE ASH-1 and decided I needed some. 2 x LE, and 2 or 3 cg. Anybody want to buy a truck? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> Dear God, you probably made a homeland security list with that order.

I got a double cut with Black G-10 Magnum handles. Great taste! Only difference is I went with normal slabs. I am not sure what will feel best with the .320" steel. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
