Today went very well for me, indeed.
I did a photo shoot for my dear friend, J., and her newborn son, Q. I really wanted to turn in a knock-out performance for them, but the conditions were very difficult. Nevertheless, I absolutely blew the doors off that photo shoot. She'll be thrilled.
And I'm feeling perky. I have that can-do feeling, and a sense of optimism about the direction things are going with my photography, and with my business.
How's all with you, today? That is just great to hear Mike! Good to hear that the debt reduction is coming along ahead of schedule. Yeah, I border on OCD when it comes to my finances. So many years in debt. Was a point when I started with the whole steel obsession that I would lose sleep over buying a knife. I could not stand the thought of spending a dime on a none essential item when I could be paying debt down. It was actually unhealthy. I finally just sat down, set targets to hit and allowed myself to spend some. Makes life a lot more enjoyable!

I studiously avoided ever getting into any debt whatsoever. Then one (too many) medical crisis changed all that literally overnight. Now I have a mountain of debt to pay off.
But on the good side, that's put a fire under me, regarding making the most of my business, which will eventually keep me in the black and living well.

I commend you for that Mike.
Mine stemmed from student loans and then living expenses when I went for a major career change a couple of years ago.
No regrets! Actually, my only regret was not doing it sooner. Work should not be a dreaded chore!

Plus it allowed me to stop living in a big polluted city and get to the area I wanted to be in. I lived for several years in Toronto & Ottawa. Not for me!

I am still glad for it every day and it just passed the 5 year mark since the big decision.
With your photography skills you have a great tool to use to beat down that debt. Being something you love as well gives you what I had set out to seek.
Mine cost me almost $70k and was worth every penny
