Colt has a custom shop package - i think it is called the "O" upgrade-
they will do kinda what i want for about $300 but i havent checked around for any other people/prices......
on top of that i now have fallen in love with big thick fixed blades, so i think my money will be tied up for a while. both my Colts shoot fine anyway..

I've had one stovepipe on my Colt in the last 1000+ rounds or so. I got the pistol from my dad, who had it for 10-12 years or so, and I think he'd had one or two... but its been a great pistol. Best shooting pistol I've ever had!

I am optimistic that it will warm up to 10 this weekend or early next week so I can go zero my new scope and see if the rifle patterns at all with factory loads
