Evening guys! 1001 posts here. We are off to a good start. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Good morning Guys and Gals! Well, we just got power back since the ice storm hit. We only had to go 21 hours - last January Springfield had some folks without power for 12 DAYS! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> We stayed warm with a couple of vent-free propane heaters, and I keep a few extra 12-volt batteries and power inverters for lights (clear Christmas type). So, we had light and were able to watch the news on TV. We listened to Christmas carols on my BayGen wind-up radio, cooked on our gas cook-top, and played some games. Not a bad way to sit out an ice storm! Some of my best memories growing up was waiting out long power outages on the east coast, cooking on the woodstove and having some great family time!
