The other day I was stabbing my DM into a 2x4 and after I was done cleaning up the mess, I noticed that along the edge near the tip it had a ding, chip or roll in it I have no idea which, But there was a little steel sort of hanging of the side, it is a Very small mark, I could not even get it in view with a picture,(I am very surprized because I did not hit a nail or concrete at all) should I just sharpen it out or send it to Scrapyard?
why on earth would you have to send it to scrapyard?
its okay, all knives get dents, rolls and even chips.
I dont think scrapyard would do anything for a small dent.
if you cant get it with a camera its obviously nothing to worry about, sharpen it out some(not all the way) and than forget about it (it wont effect the knife at all) and as you sharopen your knife after each use it will just go away.
I think it was knifeguy who said someting similar to this but, i never worry(anymore) about sharpening the dings out of my knives, cause as they dull I'll just have to sharpen them more and they'll gradually just get sharpened out, why waste metal?
