Honestly... had my complaining not directly lead to Jerry changing the rules, I would have sat it out, even though I REALLY wanted it - in large part because I knew we had no chance.

Boss Hog is a stand up guy for listening to me and the others griping about how unfair it was (okay, whining!). I couldn't be happier. My credit card company is happy as well.
