Other than the handle shape - don't like that much. Terrible when chopping (ouch!).

I will eventually send this one back to Justin to get new handles and have him refinish it satin. My belt sander just cant cut it or at least my skills can't cut it. I don't want to jack anything up you know.

I wonder is Juston could put some rubber under the handles like Fehrman does?

With gloves I like the RD. I have not chopped anything with the DFLE yet. Man I need to.

Going to look in to making leather sheaths. Just for the heck of it.

It does apparently. Instead of a colored liner they put rubber that absorbs shock.

I am going to ask him about it for sure. That, some ivory G10 and a satin finish. Oh yeah.

I'm switching out my Orange G-10 for bright Micarta (color to be determined). I just don't like the cold, hard feeling of G-10, especially when chopping. Maybe I'm spoiled with Res-C! but J said he'd give me a good deal on the switch-out and fix my dinged RD-7.

Not in to the orange G10 huh. If it needs a home let me know. We can work something out.
