that's a critical knife in history. the first lockback. the folding hunter. it's hollow ground and clip pointed, the sharpest edge of any of my large folders. the sharpest point of all of my knives, folding or fixed, large or small. optimized for true cutting something like sixty years ago, unlike all the thick spined, thick edged, black coated tactical wrecking bars people drool over these days. the knife couldn't come much further after the 110, changes past that point were mostly for tastes and shaking things up rather than necessity. the next great leap didn't occur until spyderco with light weight, serrated, one handed pocket clip knives.

the buck 110 is one of the toughest folders evermade, it has a large and loyal following

To clarify my earlier posts... I don't DISLIKE FRN at all - I just like the rough texture that Spyderco uses on their G10 a little more.

My wife's Delica 4 is a sweet little knife. I like the Native as well - but the lack of steel liners makes the USA Native a little sloppy. I do like the blade shape of the Native, though (mainly on the Native III - don't waste your time w/ a USA Native, get the III from Seki City if you go that route).
