not really. you know i never got an m2k? the old orange mora came along for backup, but the new opinel did well. the trail hawk is fun, did some splitting with it but the long knife/hatchet are way better for that.

as is customary for my first outdoor use of any blade, i chipped both.

sleep tight ted.

the ibook pretty much went black. when i tried to restart, it made the noise and stayed black. i turned it off and i could only tell it was off because the charger humms when the power's down. tried it again and it looked normal, the apple came up and the loading wheel below it. took forever. tapped it like it was the rim of a wine glass and the apple logo and spinning wheel jumped left.

off it goes.

Thanks Cold One ,I never thought about the taping at Canada Customs so now I have another reason to obsess about their crummy tape job.
Have any canuks got their DFLE's yet? Usually Bramel gets his stuff first and Cold one and I about 5 days later around the same time.
