Suggestions Needed:

I had a plumber at the house today to get Santa Clause unstuck from the inside of my toilet - it was expensive, and rather funny. He had a powerful auger that broke Santa in to little pieces. Jordan put some other assorted toys down the toilet again today, so I spent a good amount of time forcing whatever they were through with a crummy little auger and my plunger. He's potty trained, so I NEED him to use the toilet, but can't think of any way to ensure that he's not flushing things down it. My frustration is compounded by the fact that I had to take apart our DVD player to retrieve multiple DVD's that were jammed up in there - although I've solved that by duct taping the entertainment center closed. Any potty solutions would be greatly appreciated it. He can open the child safe doorknob cover, and the child proof toilet lid retainers. Child proof my butt!!

Thanks guys!

Ahhh! welcome to parenthood.

Buy a more powerful auger.....sounds like your gonna need it.

The only thing my kids haven't done is throw stuff down the toilet.

Best of luck with the toilet issues.

When you care enough to use only the best...stick'em with a SKYCO knife.

I'm thinking about getting a good auger. Can't cost more than the $110 plumber fee, especially after I've had to do it more than once!

Toilet locks have been no use - Jordan figures them out better than I can...

if I had a kid who was that "active, rambunctious" I'd look into playpens or high door locks. you'd be with him all the time anyway

We did a hotel style lock on out front door to prevent the beasts from escaping when they were younger. Most of the cabinet locks that we put on are still there too.

There is a thought... Just install a lock on the bathroom door! As long as it is high enough to be out of reach..
