Mag, that workout is pretty much what me and some other kids/guys in the weight room do.
except we do regular curls and on the closegrips we do negatives. (well they do, I haven't tried them yet, I workout a little different)
I'm still on 20lbs for arm curls, (I just started lifting in march)
hopefully I'll get up to 25's soon.
most of the guys do around 40.
mag, I know what you mean about having a trainer.
my gym teacher really pushes me, and it's alot better.
I've improved so much.
when I started, I could barely bench like... 65.
now I can get about 8 reps with 105.
(if I have a little spot)
I'm getting alot bigger and you kind of get those plateaus.
sometimes I think about a week with no lifting helps when that happens.
for me it did.
but I think getting pushed hard is the best, especially when you have someone pushing you.
