oh yeah, psk's are fun. i just wrote up a list of items for a friend of mine to pick up to build his own psk. found some good deals on certain items, so you should probably try to get some of them EMF.

county comm: SO-LED $1, swedish fire steel $6, 100ft 550 $6. Pick up the fox 40 whistle if you don't wanna order from the other places too. they have a cool lookin signal mirror, too.

bladematrix: Adventure medical Doug Ritter PSK for $21, Photon x-light micro $6

EDCdepot: suunto micro compass $7, good prices on maxpedition bags, free spy capsule.

i have the adventure medical SOL kit, wish i had bought the ritter. other than that stuff, walk through the camping section at walmart. i got a nice belt pouch with bandages, ointments, sunscreen, and room for the rest of my stuff. usa made, too. bout $5.

I should really spend some money on cheap good deals for PSK stuff.
like a mora firesteel and stuff like you listed.

but like I said, I need at least an s7 or DFCG first.

I dont always agree with m40 but he is a pretty practical guy, we have exchanged emails several times and I have even tried to persaude him to get a SYKCo blade.

I'd like to really just rely on my DFLE and my scallion, but a good mora (for no apparent reason) should be purchased.

pm sent. you can't get a mora from county comm and i'm turned off by a lot of their stuff, but if you can they use a paypal shopping cart and have some good deals on things like firesteels, led's, and 550.
