On an unrelated topic, I just have to mention:

I have recently discovered how well buttermilk works for making cream sauces for pasta. Buttermilk is the ingredient that has been missing from my pasta sauces, all my life. Try it!

Some nice wood scales would be spiffy on an SAK.

I definitely don't have the skills, nor aptitude, nor equipment, to mod a Leatherman Wave, myself.

I could not be accurately descibed as "Handy".

those are Spartans, I have two and one had really old scales so I replaced them with Stay Glows.

Oh, sure. I've used regular milk, half&Half, heavy whipping cream. All good, but not the same as buttermilk. By the way, I would still use some milk and some butter and some cheese... the buttermilk is in addition.
