What?!?!?!? You don't own any INFI, Swizzle!?!?!
That's preposterous!!!
Don't get the SAR as your first. Go big and get yourself a HOGFSH, MOASH, CGFBM, FFFBM, AK-47, or Ruck first.

no infi for me sharp. i've only been into fixed blades for a couple years now and when i started, the idea of spending 200+ on a knife was ridiculous to me (i lived in a world of $50-$150 folders and thought i'd never need a fixed blade *hangs head in shame*). things are changing, but honestly, i love my rats and dogs and just haven't pulled the trigger on any infi. the one that appeals to me the most is the no-e, but the price of those bad boys is beyond a "reasonable purchase" for me.
i can live without infi (for now...)

hypothetically, if anyone needed infi, that need was erased by the advent of scrap yard knives. there's nothing infi can do that sr77 in the same format can't. course we don't have fat flat dogfathers or ak's.

and I've also come to another realization, I don't want/need any more dedicated folders either, why have a single blade when I can use my OHT or SAK and have so much more?
sure a "gentleman's knife" is cool and nice and maybe a little faster/stronger but that's why I have fixed blades. I like all the features my SAKs have, more logical to me. My folders are just gathering dust, and that ain't right!
In the bush, fixed and a SAK; in town, SAK or Multitool is all I need...

Lol Swizzle.
Yes, I am missing some SR-77. Though a little SR-101 and some INFI ain't too bad.
It is heresy that I am in The Yard and don't have a single SY Knife. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
And those Ergo Natural Outlaws are ugly... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
Stick to the SFNO. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
(Naw, I'm just joking. I actually kinda like the ergo handles. Your right that most of the Ergo models are only worth it to collectors. I actually want a Flying Nuclear Mojo with Ergo Handles)

Sharp, you know Private Klink still has brand new Yard Keepers (LE) on him that he'd let go for cost? Contact him when he gets back on if you want one. (he's having storm problems now)
