i hope i don't end up in the same boat as you since i'm tryin to do the opposite. i have a couple choppers but i was hoping that i'd be able to reduce to just one, the forthcoming dog father. khuk's don't count but i'm tryin to keep to just one of those as well. still, there are other big bowies i admire to which i may succumb.

What is a EU 17 and could you post a pic?
I try to only buy users but it seems like I need one for each catagory like EDC
fixed and folder, chopper, boot knife, mora, reanactor knife,Neck knife(I have had my eye on the Buck Hartsook in S30V)daggers and fighters. Then there are multitools and flashlights. I even have a katana for zombie attack.

I just read a really cool book called "World war Z" by Max Brooks and it is awesome. If something like that happends us dogs will be some of the most valuable people in society. There are some great parts in the book about how all the lawyers and entertainment industry bigwigs were useless and ended up being assistants to the mechanics and plumbers with usefull skills. Choppers like the Dogfather were literaly worth more than gold.

When I do get my Dog Father, it WILL be the biggest knife that I own. AND, I will not feel the need to buy another of that size. When I get my Dog Father, I will have a nice variety of sizes of fixed blades; small, med, and large. It will be perfect!

That's not my picture. I have the Mini and the Magnum. I don't see much need to fill the hole in the middle but I'm sure it's a great knife as well.

These things are SOLID. The handle fits my hand also.

Arf arf arf... That's my other dog impression.

I've got you down for the Foil Father. I just assumed that would be your first choice. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

The S6 is currently my largest knife so this will be my first chopper and I can't wait to get it.

I have the same idea as TKC I want an awesome small/e.d.c= SS4, medium= S6 and large= DF. With all those to choose from I'll always have the right tool for the job! I can't wait to get the big dog. It'll be interesting what Dan does next..
