We bolted a 4-foot long solid steel bar to the tang of the Dog Father and then bent it all the way to the floor without breaking! The pic below shows the cutting and edge holding horsepower of the Dog Father!. . . We cut over 300 pieces of 1inch hemp rope without dulling! Our deep proprietary heat treatment and cryogenic treatment sets our SR-77 apart from any other S-7 blades on the market. We’ll be more than happy to perform a LIVE side-by-side cutting demonstration against ANY other maker or manufacturer with their version of S-7! So how far did it bend and go back to normal?

Even survivng that bend was awesome! Who'd lever anything to that angle just using the grip? Wow that knife is impressive, can't wait to get one! So glad I didn't get the FBM, the DF is just such a user!!

Did the DF return to true after that bend?

Also is it differentially tempered? It has to be. I can't imagine a through hardened knife surviving that kind of bend.

Simply amazing. I think for the first time in my life, I may actually purchase more than one of the same model knife when it comes out.
