Just dropping in for a few minutes here. After playing around with a bunch of blades the other night, I realized how much I love the ASH-1 LE! I was splitting some wood into kindling by pressing down on the spine of the knife. The LE just glided through everything. I found that the coating on the CGFBM, SAR5 & the Sarsquatch really slowed things down. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

I can't afford the Ruck yet, but that is definitely number 1 on my "you dream" list.

at least the coating is easy enough to get rid of. The ASH-1's sure are sweet, especially the LE's. I'm still resisting though. I like the thinner ones better too

I'm hoping for an SFNO, something more sword-like, and I want one of the SAR-4's if they ever actually come out. I'm building my cashflow aggressively right now so I'm trying to keep my spending somewhat limited. I'm not going to pass on anything I really want though.

Imperia - a vodka I tried in moscow 2 years ago and haven't seen for sale in the US until today. really good stuff

Absente - some fake sissy absinthe, tastes kinda like half and half absynthe and sambuca. it came with an absinthe spoon and improper instructions on how to use it traditionally. It is a nice flourescent green though.

Zwack - hungarian herb liqueur. not bad at all. Its like a cross between Chartreuse and a banana liqueur. Its not quite as smooth as Chartreuse, which is 55%, and this is only 35%, but it is still worth a try I think. I think Charteuse is definitely better, much stronger, and only slightly more expensive making it a better value if you can get it.
