I get off duty about 0500 and finish turning over with my relief by around 0545

so to a normal person, this would be like about 8pm

0500 is 5am and 0545 is just 45mins after right, so 5:45 am, right?

My only concern with the SS4 and RMD is that I'm afraid it might be to large to EDC, especially since of my location. I pulled out my small spyderco folder and people were like, "Whoa! You carry a knife on you?!" As though it was a horrible thing. Whatever. But imagine if I pulled out a SS4, let alone a RMD. I don't care though, that's why I spend money on them in the first place, to use it.

i'm going to have to guess not quit legal there. I might be able to get away with an SS4 here, but definitely not an RMD for EDC.

I EDC and endura wave and a Salt 1. If I need to pry something we have plenty of crowbars and claw hammers at work. If I need to screw something I can just call maintanance and tell them to do it. In my car I have my tire iron. How often am I really far from my home, work or car? basically never unless I'm hiking, then I have a fixed blade too.
