Some competion for the Dogfather could be a big Strider ,Ontario Rat whatever their big one is called and the Tops Armageddon or even a Rinaldi custom armageddon? I think the DF is the closest you can get to one of the custom cutting competion bowies in a production knife. Dan should enter one of those comps with
a DF straight off the rack(maybe with a reprofiled edge) and see how it does?

Competition implies the other knives could stand up to the punishment within some degree. The competition of the Dogfather would be knives made by Dan's brother and by Justin Gingrich and Bill Siegle, maybe Dan's sister-in-law, too.
