That was the home of Capricorn Records which of couse had Otis Redding and The Allman Brothers as their stars. Phil Walden the owner of Capricorn also owned a large recreation area called Lakeside, swimming lake, skating, picnic areas and he also lived there. He would have impromptu concerts in his backyard from time to time. He announced on the radio one Saturday that he was throwing a free birthday bash at his house for free. The entertainment was Black Oak Arkansas, The Charlie Daniels Band, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Pretty nice little free show.

The coolest music experience I've had is when I was in kindergarden in Toledo, OH and my art teacher was dating Glenn Frey. He came in and talked about how he co-wrote Desperado and what it meant to him. I didn't think much of it at the time, but years later I realized who he was. It's a very cool memory.

Oh, he also sang Desperado while playing an acoustic guitar. This was in 1973 and I had no idea how popular he was at the time. The album must have just come out when he was playing for us. Oh, and on a separate note. He's a fun zombie link. http://mingle2.com/zombieharmony/free-dating-sites#

I saw a big pile of wood that my knives would have love to eat, but when I came back the next day, the garbage man already took it away.

Just cord wrapped my Gossman PSK. ![[Linked Image from img.photobucket.com]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v302/MRpilot/IMG_7990.jpg) Since I've gotten the RC Izula, I haven't carried the PSK around much, so I thought I'd throw back in the mix. I'm going to take it to the beach with me later today. Pretty soon, I plan on making some homemade micarta slabs out of old black denim jeans, it should look like black canvas micarta.

I didn't realize you had an Izula MRpink. I have been waiting for those to be released.

You guys are younger than I am. Whats your best concert memory? I will always put any Grateful Dead or Jerry Garcia show above any other concert but my favorite "other" show would have to be Pink Floyd at RFK 7/1/88. Just an amazing show. Basically all of the Wall from beginning to end with a few extras thrown in. Incredible lasers and giant flying inflatable pigs. There had been a run of 3 or 4 shows the previous year at the Cap Centre which was indoors that was supposedly very good but I honestly have no recollection of any of it even though I know I was there every night. Wish I could still party like that!
